THE LAREDO APARTMENTS, AS GREG ALLUDED TO EARLIER. THEY'RE WRAPPING UP THE FINAL TWO BUILDINGS ON THAT. OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS, WE'LL BE COMPLETING THE FINAL INSPECTIONS WRAPPING THAT UP AND CLOSING THOSE PROJECTS OUT. THE NEW PD FACILITY HAS STARTED VERTICAL CONSTRUCTION BUILDING DEPARTMENT PARTICIPATED IN THE BCQS. THAT'S THE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION EVALUATION GRADING SYSTEM. AND THAT'S OUR PORTION OF THE ISO AUDIT THAT WE DO. WE PARTICIPATED IN THAT EARLY IN THIS YEAR AND RECEIVED OUR CLASSIFICATIONS IN JUNE. FOR ONE- AND TWO-FAMILY DWELLINGS, WE MAINTAIN A RATING OF THREE. AGAIN, THE ISO RATING IS A SCALE OF 1 TO 10, WITH ONE BEING THE BEST, TEN BEING THE WORST. SO, WE STAYED AT A THREE FOR OUR ONE- AND TWO-FAMILY DWELLINGS FOR OUR COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS. WE IMPROVED FROM A THREE TO A TWO. HE'S BEEN IN DECATUR THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS WORKING HERE. ONCE A DIFFERENT PACE AND DIFFERENT WORK ENVIRONMENT. SO, HE'S COME TO US WE THINK THAT HE'LL MAKE A VERY GOOD FIT WITH WHAT WE'VE GOT GOING ON OVER THERE. THE GOVWELL PERMITTING SYSTEM WE'VE TALKED TO YOU ABOUT THAT, THAT THAT'S COMING. TOTAL FEES FOR THIS YEAR TO DATE SO FAR IS $14,600. EVIDENTLY, WE DIDN'T GET A SAVED PART OF THAT. SO, PERMITTING THE AND TRACKING FOR EVENTS IN DECATUR IS SOMETHING THAT WE'RE WORKING TOWARDS IN THIS TO BE ABLE TO TRACK ALL EVENTS THAT GO ON IN DECATUR. WE'VE TALKED TO THE GOVWELL SOFTWARE. THEY CAN HELP WITH THAT. THEY CAN PROVIDE A PLATFORM TO WORK THAT OFF OF. SO THAT'S GOING TO WORK REALLY WELL WITH THIS, THE NEW FOOD ESTABLISHMENT FOR THIS QUARTER WAS THE PELICAN SNOWBALLS. ONE OF THE THINGS THAT CODE ENFORCEMENT IS DOING IS THEY'RE WORKING WITH OUR GOVWELL, PERMITTING SOFTWARE TO PROVIDE AN ONLINE OPTION FOR GARAGE SALE PERMITS. THIS CAME UP HERE A WHILE BACK THAT EVERYBODY HAS TO COME DOWN TO CITY HALL TO BE ABLE TO PULL THOSE PERMITS. THIS IS THE LIST OF THEIR OPEN CASES AND THE NUMBER OF DISPOSED CASES FOR THE LAST SIX MONTHS. IT'S PRETTY CONSISTENT IN THE FOUR HUNDREDS OF THE CASES THAT THEY'RE DISPOSING. OUR ONGOING PROCESSES WERE STILL WORKING ON PROCESSES TO STREAMLINE THINGS, MAKE THINGS A LITTLE MORE EFFICIENT. WE'VE REDUCED UNNECESSARY PROCESSES. LED UNICORN LAKE APARTMENTS WAS ONE OF THE DENTON COUNTY PROJECTS THAT WE HAD CLOSED LAST YEAR. IT'S 153-UNIT MULTIFAMILY PROPERTY, AND THAT UNICORN LAKE IS A TINY LITTLE LAKE. THEY'RE MOSTLY A POND AND THAT WAS THE DEVELOPER'S NAME FOR IT. MY DAUGHTER LOVED IT. WE HAVE SEEN THE PROPERTY, AND SHE LOVES UNICORN LAKE. THAT ASSESSMENT WAS JUST OVER $9 MILLION. OKAY. AND THEN GARAGES OF AMERICA. FRISCO. THESE ARE KIND OF MAN CAVES WHERE PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE A PLACE TO PUT THEIR HOT RODS, AND THEY GO OUT AND HANG OUT TOGETHER. AND AS YOU CONTINUE, THE PROPERTIES ARE GOING UP, PROPERTY TAXES ARE GOING UP, AND THIS PID TAX IS GOING TO BE REALLY HIGH. A $40 MILLION ON 500 HOMES. THAT'S A LOT OF MONEY. HOWEVER, YOU WANT THIS TO GO IS HOW THIS WILL GO. SO, THE RECOMMENDATION IS THAT THE MINIMUM WOULD PAY WOULD BE FOR $6 FOR EVERYBODY THAT APPEARED FOR JURY SERVICE. THE STATUTES DESIGNED SUCH THAT THIS PAY IS A REIMBURSEMENT. SO, IT'S A REIMBURSEMENT OF GAS. IT'S A REIMBURSEMENT OF TIME. SO THAT MINIMUM IS PROVIDED BY STATE LAW KIND OF ADDRESSES THAT WITH THAT SMALL AMOUNT. SO EVERYBODY THAT APPEARED WOULD BE ELIGIBLE FOR A $6 COMPENSATION FOR APPEARING. AND THEN IF THEY ACTUALLY SERVED, THEY WOULD GET $4 MORE, MAKING THEIR SERVICE $10 PER DAY AT THAT RATE. WITH THE AMOUNT OF JURY SETTINGS THAT WE'VE BEEN GETTING, WE HAD TEN JURY TRIALS SCHEDULED OUT OF 2023 CASES, AND SO FAR FOR 2024 CASES, WE'VE HAD THREE JURY TRIALS SCHEDULED. SO, WITH THAT MATH, IT LOOKS LIKE THIS RECOMMENDATION THAT WE'RE MAKING WOULD COVER JUST FINE WITHOUT DEPLETING THE ACCOUNT. OKAY. WHAT QUESTIONS DO YOU ALL HAVE THERE?
