WE STILL HAVE TWO UNITS THAT ARE.

WORKING MOSTLY THAT WE WANT TO REPLACE EVENTUALLY, BUT RIGHT NOW THEY'RE NOT AN EMERGENCY SITUATION.

WE HAVE OUR NEW MARQUEE AND DIRECTIONAL SIGN INSTALLED AND WORKING.

WE HAVE WE HAVE MADE A COUPLE OF PRACTICE CHANGES.

WE ARE NOT FINDING THE OFF SITE CATERING TO BE VERY PROFITABLE OR VERY MANAGEABLE.

SO, FOR EXAMPLE, SOME OF THE PLACES THAT WE'VE BEEN ASKED TO CATER OFF SITE ARE NOT REALLY ACCESSIBLE.

SO FLYING V RANCH, FOR EXAMPLE, WE HAD A HARD TIME GETTING OUR EQUIPMENT IN AND GETTING IT OUT JUST BECAUSE OF THE TERRAIN.

NOTHING AGAINST THEM. IT'S JUST THE TERRAIN OF THEIR PLACE.

SO WE'RE DOING A LOT MORE PICKUP CATERING.

SO WE'RE JUST NOW WE'RE JUST GOING TO DO PICKUP CATERING.

WE MAY MAKE A FEW EXCEPTIONS LIKE WE'LL DELIVER TO CITY HALL IF WE NEED TO, BUT FOR THE MOST PART, IT'S JUST GOING TO BE PICKUP CATERING.

PARKS DEPARTMENT HAS CONTACTED US ABOUT USING THAT BACK FIELD BEHIND US, JUST ON THE NORTH SIDE OF OUR PROPERTY AS A SOCCER PRACTICE FIELD, BECAUSE APPARENTLY THERE ARE 500 AND SOMETHING NEW CHILDREN THAT HAVE SIGNED UP TO PLAY SOCCER OR HAVE NOT NEW CHILDREN, BUT CHILDREN THAT HAVE SIGNED UP TO PLAY SOCCER THIS YEAR.

THAT'D BE FUN. SO THEY NEED SOME MORE PRACTICE FIELDS, AND SO WE HAVE THAT GREAT FLAT FIELD BACK THERE.

NOT SURE IF THEY'RE GOING TO NEED TO USE IT, BUT WE'VE CERTAINLY GIVEN THEM GIVEN THEM THE GO AHEAD BECAUSE IT'S REALLY TOO NICE A SPACE TOO BIG A SPACE TO GO UNUSED AND IT BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE OF DECATUR, SO THEY MIGHT AS WELL HAVE IT.

WE HAVE TAKEN DOWN THE BIG MONSTER GREEN CURTAINS AND WE'LL BE REPLACING THAT WITH A ONE PIECE SOLAR BLIND THAT ONLY LETS IN 1% OF LIGHT.

SO FOLKS THAT NEED TO USE THE AV WON'T BE HAMPERED BY THAT.

FOLKS THAT DON'T CAN ENJOY THE NATURAL LIGHT FROM THOSE NICE BIG WINDOWS.

WE'VE PAINTED THAT ROOM WAS WALLPAPERED AND WE ACTUALLY SEALED THE WALLPAPER AND PAINTED OVER IT BECAUSE IF WE PULLED THAT WALLPAPER OFF, IT COULD VERY LIKELY HAVE DAMAGED THE SHEETROCK.

SO WE ELECTED TO JUST SEAL IT 3 OR 4 COATS OF KILZ AND THEN PAINT IT, AND WE'RE REALLY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS, AND YOU'LL SEE THE PICTURE ON THE RIGHT OUT IN THE LITTLE LOBBY ON THE EAST END.

WE HAD THIS LITTLE ARCHITECTURAL BUMP OUT THAT WAS JUST NOT HIGHLIGHTED IN ANY WAY.

SO WE TOOK THE BOTTOM COLOR FROM THE EATON ROOM AND PAINTED THE WALL THAT THE LONGHORNS GO ON, AND SO THAT'S THE COLOR SCHEME THAT WE'D LIKE TO KEEP THROUGHOUT THE CONFERENCE CENTER WHEN WE START TO DO THESE RENOVATIONS THAT WE'RE ASKING FOR.

IN THIS SPACE NOW, THE LOBBY SPACE NOW IS REALLY FUNCTIONING MORE AS A LOBBY.

IT'S NOT JUST A PASS THROUGH LIKE IT HAD BEEN, AND THE EXCITING PART IS HOW OUR SALES ARE GOING.

SO THIS PARTICULAR SLIDE SHOWS WHERE WE ARE COMPARED TO PREVIOUS YEARS IN THEIR TOTALITY OF SALES, BUT IF YOU LOOK AT THE NEXT SLIDE, THIS KIND OF SHOWS MORE APPLES TO APPLES OF WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW COMPARED TO THIS TIME THE SAME YEAR IN THESE PREVIOUS YEARS, AND SO YOU'LL SEE WE HAVE SEEN A LITTLE DECLINE IN OR WE HAD SEEN A LITTLE DECLINE IN CORPORATE TRAINING TYPE THINGS BECAUSE, OF COURSE, WITH COVID, EVERYONE SWITCHED TO ZOOM

SO WE ARE SEEING ALL OF THOSE START TO COME BACK AND REALLY INCREASE AND A LOT MORE OF THE SOCIAL EVENTS AS WELL.

WE BOOKED A LOT MORE OF THEIR--SEVERAL MORE--OF THE DECATUR ISD EVENTS THIS YEAR.

I THINK THE SCHOOL HAS JUST OUTGROWN THE CAFETERIA CAPACITY TO HOLD THEIR AWARDS, BANQUETS AND THINGS AS THOSE GROUPS ARE GETTING BIGGER, THEIR CAFETERIA ISN'T BIG ENOUGH TO ACCOMMODATE THEM, SO THEY ARE COMING IN, RENTING OUR BALLROOM.

WE DID CREATE A SPECIAL RATE AND SPECIAL MENUS FOR ANY SCHOOL GROUPS.

AS LONG AS THEY BOOKED MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, THEY GET KIND OF A SMOKING DEAL ON THE BALLROOM RENTAL AND WE GET TO HAVE THEM OUT THERE AND CELEBRATE WITH THEM.

SO THAT'S BEEN GREAT.

WE HAVE DONE SEVERAL THINGS TO SORT OF JUST FOR GENERAL PROMOTION AND TO KIND OF [INAUDIBLE], MITIGATE, SORRY, THOSE VALLEYS IN SALES.

WE DID THE VALENTINE DINNER PACKAGE.

WE HAD A LITTLE PROMO THERE WITH THE FAIRFIELD INN AND THEN WE DID A POP UP LUNCH FOR MARDI GRAS.

I'M BLAMING HER FOOT INJURY ON THAT AND WE STILL HAVE COMING UP MOTHER'S DAY THE LUNCHEON THAT WILL BE ON SITE, NOT OFF SITE.

WE'RE GOING TO DO A FISH FRY IN JUNE.

WE'RE GOING TO DO A REUNION TO GO IN JULY, AND THEN WE'RE REALLY EXCITED.

WE'RE PARTNERING WITH RITZY, GLITZY PHOTO BOOTH TO HOST A QUINCEANERA AND BRIDAL SHOW IN SEPTEMBER.

NOTHING LIKE THAT IS AVAILABLE IN WISE COUNTY, AND AS FAR AS I KNOW, I'VE NEVER SEEN ANY SORT OF ADVERTISEMENT TO INCLUDE THE QUINCEANERA GROUP IN THAT.

SO WE'RE REALLY HOPING TO ATTRACT A WHOLE BUNCH OF DIFFERENT AGE RANGES AND, YOU KNOW, REALLY GIVE THEM A SERVICE THAT THEY DON'T HAVEN'T HAD PREVIOUSLY.

THIS WILL ALSO HELP THE LOCAL MERCHANTS AS WE WILL ASK THEM, ALL OF THE APPAREL STORES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FASHION SHOW, AND THEN OF COURSE, THE THINGS THAT WE DON'T OFFER IN WISE COUNTY LIKE BRIDAL AND QUINCEANERA WILL HAVE TO GO TO TARRANT AND DENTON COUNTY FOR THAT, BUT IT WILL BRING ATTENTION TO THOSE COUNTIES, THOSE MERCHANTS FOR THE MARKET THAT'S HERE.

WE DO HAVE SEVERAL PHILANTHROPIC EFFORTS THAT WE'RE VERY PROUD OF.

WE HAVE THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP MEETS MONTHLY IN OUR BOARDROOM, AND THAT IS GAINING SOME STEAM.

THEY'RE REALLY HAPPY WITH THAT SPACE AND THE TIME THAT WE'VE DEDICATED TO THEM.

WE GIVE THEM THAT.

THE CITY SPONSORED WAS A SPONSOR FOR THE MEALS ON WHEELS FUNDRAISING GALA THAT WAS HELD OUT THERE, AND THAT WAS ANOTHER AN IN-KIND DONATION OF SPACE, AND THEN IN JULY, WE WILL BE HOSTING THE WIDE AREA SEARCH TRAINING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NORTH TEXAS CENTRAL COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS AND COUNTY OFFICES.

THEY ARE LITERALLY GOING TO COME IN AND TEACH LAW ENFORCEMENT HOW TO CONDUCT WIDE SEARCHES LIKE THE ONE THAT WAS DONE FOR ATHENA STRAND.

SO WE THOUGHT THAT WAS VERY WE FOUGHT PRETTY HARD TO GET THAT ONE.

WE THOUGHT THAT WAS VERY APPROPRIATE THAT HAPPENED IN WISE COUNTY, AND THEN OUR UPCOMING EVENTS TO NOTE THAT I'VE ALREADY MENTIONED A LITTLE BIT.

WE ARE HAVING OUR MOTHER'S DAY LUNCHEON TICKETS GO ON SALE TOMORROW.

WE INITIALLY SCHEDULED IT FOR TWO DAYS DURING SPRING BREAK AND WE ENDED UP OPENING IT FOR TWO MORE DAYS BECAUSE WE HAD SO MANY PEOPLE ON THE WAIT LIST, AND I JUST WANTED TO HIGHLIGHT ALSO THAT THESE WERE GROUPS OF ADULTS, NOT JUST KIDS, AND THEN THE SECOND PAGE IS JUST A LOT ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIPS AND IMPACT THAT WE HAVE.

THIS LAST QUARTER, WE WORKED WITH THE TEXAS WILDLIFE ASSOCIATION.

THEY CAME OUT AND DID SOME PROGRAMING FOR PRE-K KIDS AND OF COURSE THE WOMEN'S CLUB CAME TO DO THE ANNUAL DR.

THIS IS A REALLY NEAT AWARD.

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU GUYS ARE FAMILIAR OR EVEN SAW THIS, BUT BASICALLY THE DECATUR POLICE DEPARTMENT IS RECOGNIZED BY THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF TOWN WATCH AS THE 19TH RANKED CITY IN THE NATION AS IT RELATES TO NATIONAL NIGHT OUT.

SO WE WERE IN THE TOP 20 OF ALL CITIES IN THE US THAT WERE IN OUR SAME SIZE AS FAR AS OUR NATIONAL NIGHT OUT PROGRAM.

SO THAT IS A TREMENDOUS THING NOT ONLY FOR US, BUT, YOU KNOW, WE HAVE A LOT OF HELP WITH THAT.

THE FIRE FREEDOM MAIN STREET, ALL OF OUR, YOU KNOW, COMMUNITY SUPPORTERS.

SO THAT IS A HUGE DEAL FOR US.

I'M REALLY HOPEFUL IN THE COMING YEARS WE CONTINUE TO CLIMB THAT.

MY GOAL IS TO HAVE A NUMBER ONE UP THERE.

SO THAT'S WHERE WE ARE STRIVING FOR IN THAT.

BASICALLY, AS FAR AS GANGS, DRUGS, BULLYING ARE ALL PROGRAMS THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS.

THE CONCLUSION OF THE PROGRAM, WE BRING ALL THE KIDS OUT.

WE HAVE A LITTLE CELEBRATION.

SO PRIME EXAMPLE, THIS PAST TUESDAY NIGHT, WE HAD A PRETTY MAJOR INCIDENT HERE IN TOWN WHICH BASICALLY REQUIRED A LOT OF OUR GUYS TO GET CALLED IN TO. OUR DISPATCHERS ARE THE ONES WHO ARE HANDLING EVERY BIT OF THAT AT THE BEGINNING.
