I SPEND A LOT OF TIME DEALING WITH AND COLLABORATING WITH AND MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR VARIOUS BOARDS AND ADVISORY GROUPS.

IT'S VERY REWARDING.

IT ALLOWS ME TO TAKE INPUT FROM THE COMMUNITY LEVEL AND STAFF LEVEL AND APPLY IT TO OUR LEVEL HERE IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS.

SO A LOT OF TIME IS SPENT HERE WITH OUR BOARDS.

THAT IS WHERE A LOT OF THIS DATA COMES FROM.

WHEN I CAME ON BOARD, I CREATED THE SOAR ACRONYM SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES, ACTIVITIES AND RELATIONS, AND YOU'LL SEE THERE STAT DEVELOPMENT MEETINGS, 39 FOR THE QUARTER LAST QUARTER OF 2259 PARTNER RELATION MEETINGS.

WE DID SPEND SOME TIME IN QUARTER FOUR GOING THROUGH GOAL AND VISION FOR OUR STAFF INTERNALLY.

A REMARKABLE THING. IF YOU'LL REMEMBER, WE WERE UPGRADED FROM A ONE RATING TO AA THREE WITH MOODY'S.

THAT WILL HELP US AS WE GROW FORWARD INTO THE BOND WORLD.

WE'RE IN THE TOP FOUR NOW ON INVESTMENT GRADE RATINGS, WHICH IS VERY GOOD.

NOVEMBER GETS US START AND GET READY FOR DECEMBER AND WE'RE JUST ALL OVER THE BOARD.

THE SPECIAL EVENTS THAT WOULD BE THROUGH FIRE PREVENTION MONTH, GOING TO SCHOOL OR TO DAYCARES AND MOTHER'S DAY OUT, OR THEN VISITING THE FIRE STATION.

SO WITH THAT, THE PICTURE ON THE RIGHT, THAT WOULD BE THE LEASE VEHICLE THAT YOU APPROVED IN EARLY DECEMBER THAT IS REPLACING THE ONE ON THE LEFT.

IT'S TWO AND A HALF, THREE, THREE AND A HALF YEARS BEFORE WE'RE GOING TO GET IT HERE.

WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN BETWEEN NOW AND THEN? SO I'VE HAD A COUPLE OF MEETINGS WITH THE MANAGER.

WE'VE HAD A MEETING WITH FINANCE AND JUST KIND OF PRECLUDE WE'RE GOING TO BE HERE NEXT MONTH WITH A POTENTIAL ORDER PURCHASE AND STAFFING PLAN OVER THE NEXT FEW YEARS.

THE GREATEST PLANNING ACTIVITY OCCURRED IN APRIL AND NOVEMBER OF 2022.

IN TERMS OF APPLICATIONS PER YEAR, WE WERE FOUR FEWER IN 2022 THAN OVER IN 2021.

SO WE'RE STILL KEEPING TRACK WITH THE APPLICATIONS IN TERMS OF FEES COLLECTED.

WE COLLECTED THE MAJORITY OF OUR FEES IN FEBRUARY AND IN SEPTEMBER AND THEN IN 2019 THAT WAS THE HIGHEST PERIOD OF TIME THAT WE COLLECTED FEES COMPARED TO LAST YEAR.

BUT YOU CAN SEE HERE JUST IT REALLY KNOCKED THAT NUMBER OUT OF THE WATER FOR WHAT WAS PREVIOUSLY THE LARGEST NUMBER THAT WE HAD HAD ON HERE.

AND I WENT BACK AS FAR AS I COULD FIND BACK INTO THE EARLY 2000S AND COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING THAT CAME ANYWHERE CLOSE TO WHAT 2022 WAS AND WAS REPRESENTED GRAPHICALLY.

THAT PROCESS COULD TAKE ANYWHERE DEPENDING ON THEIR LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE IN PLUMBING FROM SOMEONE THAT'S GREEN COULD TAKE AROUND A YEAR AND A HALF TO TWO YEARS TO SOMEBODY THAT HAS SOME EXPERIENCE IN IT.

THEY COULD GET IT IN PROBABLY NOT NINE MONTHS TO A YEAR.

FBO SOLD 68,270 GALLONS OF FUEL, AND THE CITY'S PORTION OF THAT IS 3,413.50 CENTS.

AND. WHEREAS, IN THE UNITED STATES, THE CDC REPORTS 276,000 PEOPLE RECEIVE MEDICAL CARE FOR TREATMENT OF UNINTENTIONAL BURN INJURIES IN 2020, WITH 3028 DEATHS FROM FIRE OR SMOKE INHALATION OF 87 HOSPITALS

REPORTING TO THE AMERICAN BURN ASSOCIATION REGISTRY, 91,875 PEOPLE WERE TREATED IN HOSPITALS FOR BURN RELATED INJURIES, WITH 32% OF THOSE BEING FOR SKALDS.

WHEREAS COMPARED TO THE OVERALL POPULATION, CHILDREN UNDER FIVE WERE TWO TIMES MORE LIKELY TO BE BURNT, SEE BURN INJURIES AND RECEIVE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT TREATMENT.
